Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi

ASP, Punjab Police

Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi is ASP, Punjab. She is an alumna of Beaconhouse Liberty Campus and a strong advocate for animal welfare. She was instrumental in banning the euthanasia of dogs in the Police Service through the Police Animal Rescue Centre (PARC), create with the help of JFK Animal Rescue Centre. She received her BS (Hons) degree in Public Management, and her MPhil in Public Management from IAS. She won 2 gold medals during her academic career, and went on to clear the CSS exam in 2019, joining the Police Service of Pakistan. Her first posting was as a Sub Divisional Police Office in Saddar, Faisalabad, a rural circle. Her second and current posting is as SDPO Gulberg, Lahore. ASP Naqvi also facilitated the establishment of Tahaffuz Marakiz, with the Data Darbar Tahaffuz Markaz being one of her most proud accomplishments. The Markaz has worked to reunite 200+ children and vulnerable women with their families. She also launched a proper Day Care Centre Drive within Police Lines, with the help of the organisation, Interloop.
